An. gambiae open data resources
The Anopheles gambiae 1000 Genomes project data resource describes genetic variation in sequenced mosquitoes from 13 countries.
Resource 33 – Genome variation and population structure among 2,784 wild-caught mosquitoes and 297 mosquitoes comprising parents and progeny of 15 lab crosses of the African malaria vector species Anopheles gambiae, Anopheles coluzzii and Anopheles arabiensis. The Ag3 SNP data release includes information on single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), future releases will include information on SNP haplotypes and copy number variation (CNV) calls. A MalariaGEN vector user guide has been developed as a companion to these data releases to support users access and use these data more effectively.
Resource 27 – Genome variation and population structure among 1142 mosquitoes of the African malaria vector species Anopheles gambiae and Anopheles coluzzii: The Ag1000G phase 2 data resource includes genome-wide single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) calls, SNP haplotypes, copy number variation (CNV) calls, and associated data for 1,142 wild-caught mosquito specimens collected from 13 countries spanning sub-Saharan Africa, and 234 specimens comprising parents and progeny of 11 lab crosses.
